When we face an empty space, we feel unknown emotions and tension. With only empty and silence alone, space brings out stories and sounds of lingering imagery. Listening to the sound of silence and being invisible. Not being seen and touched, “aesthetics of absence” can be said to be valuable and beautiful.

    Monoha
    By leaving things as they are, we can approach the relationships of the things, space, location, situation, etc. Our role in dealing with space, as in the name of Monoha, focused on placement in space and their relationship, not on decorative techniques or significance. Large boxes placed in spaces change the relationship and become a poetic language as a single object by attaching wheels to give mobility. Relationships arise and the air in the absence expands. The domain of absence becomes another language and meets the existence of ‘none’.

    텅 빈 공간을 마주했을 때 우리는 알 수 없는 감정과 긴장감을 느낀다. 비움, 침묵만으로도 공간은 이야기를 건네고 여운의 소리를 낸다. 침묵의 소리에 귀 기울이고 보이지 않지만 존재하는 것, 보이지 않고 만져지지 않지만 우리는 그것이 가치 있고 아름답다고 이야기 할 수 있는 ‘부재의 미학’에 대해 이야기하려고 한다.

    모노하
    사물을 있는 그대로 놓아두는 것을 통해 사물과 공간, 위치, 상황, 관계 등에 접근하는 예술. 모노하의 이름에서처럼 공간을 다루는 우리의 역할은 장식적인 기교나 의미부여가 아닌 공간 안에 배치와 그것들과의 관계에 중점을 두었다. 공간에 배치된 커다란 박스들은 바퀴를 달아 이동성을 부여해 관계가 변화되고 공간 자체가 하나의 사물로서의 시적 언어가 된다. 관계가 생겨나고 부재의 공기는 확장된다. 부재의 영역은 또 하나의 언어가 되어 ‘없음’의 존재를 만나게 된다.
