EPIMETEIA HEAUTOU - CARE OF SELF

    This space, resembling a temple, embodies the concept of a multi-library that combines elements of both a library and a museum. It provides a space composed of knowledge and poetic works, aiming to soothe our empty minds. The rule of 'knowing oneself' has, in fact, always been associated with the rule of self-care in ancient cultures and, furthermore, as a means of caring for oneself in recognizing the self. The subject can not approach to the truth without transforming oneself through self-practicing.

    신전과 같은 형태를 지닌 이 공간은 도서관과 박물관을 결합한 멀티도서관 개념을 보여주고 있다. 우리의 공허한 마음을 달래는 지식과 시적인 작품들로 이루어진 공간을 함께 제공한다. '자기 자신을 알아야 한다' 는 계율은 사실 고대 문화에서 항상 자기 배려의 계율과 연관되어 있었고, 또 더 나아가 자기 자신을 인식하는 것을 자신을 돌보는 하나의 수단으로 간주 되었다. 주체는 자기 수련을 통해 자신를 변형시키지 않고서는 진실에 접근할 수 없다.
