Experience visually the indistinct boundaries that define immeasurable time

    'What is time?
    We feel the presence of time in everything we do. We artificially quantify the ambiguous boundaries of time as '11:27:19,' acknowledging its uncertain existence or non-existence. To materialize the concept of ambiguous time and allow a visual experience, we have created an installation.

    Two irregular curves of black concrete are positioned at the center of the space. Upon entering the installation, a smooth surface of mirrors with the opposite texture to the exterior surrounds the inside, and above, an oval mirror on the ceiling reflects the interior. Gazing at the fragmented self reflected in the mirrors, it becomes impossible to precisely determine where 'I' begin and end. Additionally, the mirrors installed in all directions cause a loss of spatial orientation. As with time, it cannot be precisely defined by clear numerical values, and direction becomes indiscernible.'

    시간이란 무엇일까?
    우리는 모든 일에서 시간의 존재를 느낀다. '11시 27분 19초 ' 우리는 존재할 수도, 존재하지 않을 수도 있는 불명확한 시간의 경계를 인위적으로 수치화 하여 인지한다. 불명확한 시간의 개념을 물질화 하여 시각적으로 경험할 수 있는 설치물을 만들었다.

    검정색 콘크리트의 비정형의 곡선 두개가 공간 중앙에 배치되어 있다. 설치물 내부로 진입하게 되면 외부와 정반대의 질감의 매끄러운 표면의 거울이 내부에 쪼개져 둘러 있고, 그 위로 천정에 타원형의 거울이 내부를 비추고 있다. 거울로 반사된 쪼개진 본인을 바라보며 어디서부터가 '나'이고 아닌지 정확하게 측정 할 수 없고, 사방에 설치 된 거울로 인해 방향 감각 또한 잃어버리게 된다. 시간도 그렇듯 명확한 수치로 정의할 수도, 방향을 알 수 없다.
